The problem it solves
We enable people to mix their funds while gaining permissionless access to early-stage projects across chains, tapping into Solana capital markets.
- No mainstream mixer is built into DeFi
- No private way to access early-stage tokens
- NEAR Intents-based and cross-chain launchpads are not permissionless for creating tokens (e.g., Calyz)
- Lack of cross-chain launchpads that let you pay in any token and launch permissionlessly
- No Zcash-based launchpad—no such thing as private capital markets
- Private sales are not open, but open public sales are not private
Challenges we ran into
- No message passing into NEAR Intents (why we needed to use TEE with 1-click API)
- How we solved: we used Phala tee to generate a proof based on rest API response of set payment amount
- No native ways to pay for APIs with crypto
- Just opsec
- NEAR Intents not having a testnet
- Used mainnet with small amounts and prefilled testing amounts
- Shielded pools support unclear on NEAR Intents
- Coordinated with team on timeline
- Gas issues with claiming for bridges
- Still exploring either Layer Zero or deBridge to claim tokens on any chain in the future
- Taking Zcash payments and bringing them to Solana to automate into liquidity pools
- Need to build smart accounts and use Tuk Tuk for liquidity integration
- Having a private way for redeemable addresses
- Reinforcing needed for shielded pools
- Time constraints around integrating partners
- Built this whole thing in a week, continuing as a product
- Starting late
- Grinding
- Paying for many tickets while keeping privacy
- We still need to streamline this flow. Also, NEAR Intents sometimes takes a while to settle in Zcash
- UX issues outlining anonymity sets for users
- Clearly outlined anonymity set on front end and enforced by only allowing claims after sale completed
- Privacy founders getting incarcerated—opsec matters without having this used against us as we go to market
- FREE KEONNE, BILL and Roman
Time extension would help—we really wanted to build a complete product
Future Plans
We were previously building cross-chain launchpad infrastructure, but the architecture didn’t work well for users. This mixer model with bridged tokens makes the experience much simpler, and we’ll continue developing it as a product. We have a 10+ person team focused on go-to-market for a controversial launchpad that needs privacy technology as core infrastructure. Here are our plans for the next two weeks:
- Add Layer Zero or deBridge to enable on-chain claiming
- Build automation for providing liquidity automatically
- Enable more advanced tokenomics and allocations
- Streamline the ability to mass-create tickets and improve this flow
- Improve UX and visualizations of the anonymity set
- Make it easier for other launchpads to integrate
